For light weight beads such as pearls, seed beads, 3mm, 4mm and 6mm beads. We have used .014 with 8mm and 9mm beads when the necklace is short to medium length. Our favorite crimps are sterling silver and gold-filled in packages of 50 (ss 2x2 tube - $3.50 and gf 2x2 tube $3.50). We also have silver plate and gold plate crimps in five gram packages (sp #12 - $4.00 and gp #12 - $4.00).
